COVA

Central Mid-Level's Escalator

Starting from Queen's Road Central's Central Market is the Central Mid-Level's Escalator. The Escalator is 800m long, but it actually consists of many sub-sections of small escalators. The escalator runs downhill from 6 am to 10 am and uphill from 10:30 am to midnight everyday. Along the way, you can see the local shops to the mid-levels where the rich reside. there is even a krispy kreme there, though the price is ridiculous at 168 HKD for 2 dozen.

With over 40 attractions spread across 870,000 square meters of sub-tropical land, Hong Kong Ocean Park combines entertainment, education and nature in a unique way. With over 60 million visitors since its establishment 28 years ago and over three million people visitors every year, Ocean Park is a well established tourist attraction in Pacific Asia.
Ocean Park comprises of two primary sections; Headland and Lowland. Visitors have a choice of entering the park from either of those two main entrances. Interconnecting the two sections is a frequent bus service travelling around the mountain. However the best way to travel across the two sites is by far the cable car system that covers 1.5km over the mountain, offering magnificent panoramic views of woodland hillside and Southern China Sea.
As the name suggests, Ocean Park has many attractions about the sea and ocean. For example the Ocean Theatre, where you can see the dolphins or seals entertaining the guests. There's also the Atoll Reef which is a giant fish tank, which is a few floors in height with hundreds of different sea species.
Apart from the above, there's also a shark aquarium, the Giant Panda Habitat and a sea lion and seals colony, etc etc ...
Remember to go and see the Giant Man-eating Panda!

Board an authentic Chinese junk and set sail into Hong Kong's scenic harbour for a 360-degree view of the city's impressive skyline. Originally owned and manned by Chinese fishermen, the Duk Ling is typical of the junks which used to crisscross Hong Kong's waterways 150 years ago - a reminder of the romance and intrigue that accompanied the early taipans and traders who settled here.
After having sailed the waters and deep sea channels for more than 25 years, the vessel was lovingly restored in the 1980s to her original classic design. Today, the Duk Ling is the last authentic sailing junk in Hong Kong. See whether you want to take because must book in advance. Anyway its FREE!

Repulse Bay
Repulse Bay, located in the southern part of Hong Kong Island, is the most spectacular bay in the region. Its name comes from a 19th century battle in which the British army repulsed attacking pirates. It is one of the most popular beaches in Hong Kong, always packed with swimmers in summer.
Apart from swimming and sunbathing, there are some restaurants and barbeque sites at the back of the beach, very relaxing.
The clear sparkling water and fine white sand are the labels of

Repulse Bay. In addition to these, "The Repulse Bay" , "The Repulse Bay Centre" right in front of "The Repulse Bay", and 129 Repulse Bay are the landmarks of Repulse Bay as well.
"The Repulse Bay" is a residential apartment nowadays, and it was built on a former hotel site. "The Repulse Bay Centre" in front of it is a very elegant, beautiful European building built during the colonial era. This building is not easily spotted, as you need to walk up the stairs after you get off the buses or minibuses (Stanley bound). It has a few restaurants and some shops, and

this place was filmed in a popular Hong Kong movie as well. This is certainly another place to go besides the beautiful beach.
A lighthouse near the beach is a popular place to take photos. Watching the sunset is another popular pastime for visitors. The Zhenhai Tower Park, built in the traditional Chinese style, is located near the beach. Huge statues of the Queen of Heaven and the God of Mercy (Kwan-yin) sit in front of the park.
Transportation:
Take Buses No.6, 6A, 6X, 260 or 262 (bound for Stanley) from Central's Exchange Square or Central's Star Ferry Pier, and get off at Repulse Bay.
Take Minibus No.40 (bound for Stanley) at Causeway Bay's Tang Lung Street (Corner of Percival Street and Hennessy Road), and get off at Repulse Bay.Deep Water BayOn the west of the Repulse Bay, there is a Seaview Promenade connecting to Deep Water Bay. It takes around 20 minutes to reach Deep Water Bay. This is another popular beach, however Repulse Bay is more attractive and more beautiful
