Orchard rd for Hongkong..Known also as "The Golden Mile". It is a main thoroughfare that runs through the southern districts of the Kowloon Peninsula, namely Tsim Sha Tsui, Jordan, Yau Ma Tei, and Mongkok.
There are shops lining both sides of the road and also in the side streets. Check out the sidewalks of Granville and Cameron Road, a favourite spot for factory outlet clothing.
Fa Yuen Street ( 花園街) is a street between Boundary Street and Dundas Street in Mongkok. It is famous for selling sport gears and is also known as Sport Shoes St (波鞋街).
Fa Yuen Street is full of shops selling bargain-priced trendy fashion and casual wear for men, women and children and they usually open between 10:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. daily.
At one point of Fa Yuen Street, the road is closed off to private cars for the convenience of the fresh produce market, which sells an amazing variety of exotic fruits and vegetables in the middle of the street. Directly adjacent to these produce stalls, located on the ground floors of the buildings lining Fa Yuen Street, are the hippest, most affordable clothing boutiques that you will find in Kowloon. Shopaholics should not miss out on this opportunity.
Tung Choi Street (通菜街) is a street between Boundary Street and Dundas Street in Mongkok. Its southern section is the most well-known street market in Hong Kong selling items of various kinds and is known as Ladies' Market or Ladies' Street (女人街). Ladies Market has many products for sale and you can haggle with the shop keeper. The products are not only for women. Many men's and children's products are for sale as well. Soft toys, clothes, bags, jeans, watches,... just to name a few. Its northern section features a market selling goldfish and is called Goldfish Street (金魚街) or Goldfish Market.
After each section of Ladies Market there is a small width of road that must be crossed in order to reach the next section and luckily refreshments are available near those intersections. One very popular dessert shop located close to Ladies Market is Hui Lau San. They sell beverages like pearl tea, iced chocolate and lemon tea.
